On June 17, in the village of Martynovka, Safakulevsky district, a presentation of the first and only greenhouse complex in the Kurgan region for growing greenhouse vegetables “Martynovsky” was held. The enterprise was launched in 2020, but last year, due to the pandemic, the grand opening had to be postponed. The top officials of the region and representatives of relevant departments visited the greenhouses and reaped the first crop of the new turnover.
The delegation was met by the investor of the Agroholding Sergey Vainshtein. The guests took a tour of the production block and the greenhouse, where they looked at the first harvest of cucumber. Of particular interest was the presentation table of the biological laboratory, where it was clearly demonstrated which technologies of biological plant protection are used by the agricultural complex.
The guests saw the stele of laying the first stone, which was preserved from the last visit of the delegation. At the end of the event, right on the stage, they planted cucumber sprouts in a mineral substrate, completely replicating the cultivation process. The opening ceremony was attended by Viktor Zubkov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gazprom PJSC, Vadim Shumkov, Governor of the Kurgan Region, and Irina Zhachkina, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Rosselkhozbank JSC.
“Today, there is not a single similar enterprise in the Kurgan Region; this is a truly European level of equipment, culture, order, and cleanliness,” commented Viktor Zubkov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC Gazprom. I see that over the past 6-7 years in Martynovka there have been many big positive changes. Water and gas appeared in the houses of residents, and in the village itself – new infrastructure and enterprises. Agrocomplex “Martynovsky” is a very worthy project, which will give the region a rich harvest and new jobs every year.
It is significant that the complex was opened not in a large city, but among small villages. To date, Martynovsky has already employed 340 people from 17 settlements in Shumikhinsky, Safakulevsky and Shchuchansky districts of the Kurgan region. Martynovsky believes that it is necessary to develop the regions and help the population not only with vegetables but also with work. And sometimes even with the acquisition of a new profession, the Agrocomplex helps promising employees to get an education in the agricultural sector and undergo retraining in Chelyabinsk.
Martynovsky was built with the support of the Government of the Kurgan Region and PJSC Gazprom. At the expense of the regional budget, a road was built to the borders of the greenhouse complex and a water pipeline will be stretched 15 km from the reservoir of the Chumlyak River. And “Gazprom” ran a thread of the main gas pipeline to the boundaries of the site.
