Powerplants expands Priva technical capabilities

With multiple technicians and Partners across Australia and New Zealand, Powerplants is committed to supporting customers, maintaining their status as one of the only Priva Full-Service Providers in the world.

The latest addition to the team, Chris Kotze, is a keen horticulturalist boasting 10 years of experience as an A-Grade electrician for SVW Electrical. Chris has worked alongside Powerplants in a number of projects throughout the years, and received Priva training through the company before officially joining the team this May.

Powerplants completes hundreds of installations every year and is equally invested in training highly qualified technicians in order to ensure a continued quality of service for new and existing customers.

“We are committed to building our technical team so that our customers have the best support possible. Some of our technicians have more than 25 years’ experience and they are passing their knowledge on to the next generation of technicians within our company," says Carl Van Loon.

Priva has years of experience in the development of sustainable technologies and is represented in over 100 countries worldwide. Its training processes incorporate education on different aspects of horticulture, including automation and indoor growing solutions.

Powerplants has been actively involved in the upskilling of over eight Priva technicians in the past few years, significantly enhancing its market coverage across Australia and New Zealand. This beneficial investment has been undertaken in order to better support its customers and encourage the development of a more sustainable future.
