The International Taste Institute distinguished the Spanish firm's fresh tomato juice, flavored tomato juice, and guacamole

Three products from Bonnysa were awarded the Superior Taste Award

Bonnysa participated with three products in the recent tasting carried out by the International Taste Institute and all of them were awarded the Superior Taste Award.

The company's classic fresh tomato juice flavor, freshness, and differential flavor achieved high scores in the tasting and was awarded one gold star. The product's aroma was one of the most outstanding elements in the tasting, as it highlighted the authenticity and freshness of its main ingredient: the Bonnysa tomato.

La Saborsada®, Bonnysa's vegetable alternative to the traditional meat sobrasada, was also awarded the aforementioned distinction and the jury especially valued the texture of the product, its spreadability, and its intense flavor.

Finally, the company's fresh guacamole was distinguished with two stars, as the jury highly valued the authenticity of its recipe. They highlighted its texture and how it reminded them of a homemade recipe. Bonnysa's guacamole received two stars from the Taste Award and was the best-valued guacamole by this European institute.

"We at Bonnysa are very proud of this recognition that goes beyond the product's flavor, as it also recognizes the effort made by our entire team to create unique recipes, with authentic flavor and high added value," stated Teresa Brotons. “This type of initiative allows us to evaluate the path we have chosen for each product and make certain we can surprise the most demanding palates. We continue working and betting on the IV and V range to continuously improve all our products and to continue developing new alternatives. This award, together with the two Flavor of the Year awards that our fresh grated tomato has achieved, will boost us in a year in which we hope we return to normality,” Brotons added.

The International Taste Institute is the world's leading institution in the evaluation and certification of food and beverages. It has a large team of experts who carefully analyze the products that are presented to obtain this distinction. In the tastings, these experts value important elements such as the first taste impression, how the product looks, smells, tastes, and its texture. As indicated by the institute, some of these values are subjective and depend on the person tasting the product and his cultural habits. Bonnysa highlighted that its products received positive feedback from different reputed tasters of various socio-cultural backgrounds.
