AMHPAC will hold annual convention September 1-3

This year will undoubtedly be different but AMHPAC is hoping to see the produce industry at their annual summit event, where the current situation of the fruit and vegetable industry will be analyzed, and the risks and opportunities that exist in the sector addressed. The international business environment will also be examined and the information will help strengthen relationships between participating decision makers.

"We will meet with the main representatives of the different links in the production and distribution chain of Mexican vegetables," a release said. Throughout the day, participants will listen to experts in the most relevant topics of the industry.

The AMHPAC summit connects members from different parts of the production and distribution chain of Mexican vegetables.

Due to COVID-19, the Hyatt Ziva headquarters hotel has measures and strategies for guests to have absolute certainty that they are in a COVID-19-free place.

The organization is also working on the areas where industry members will meet to ensure they have all the measures and healthy distances in place--as well as the commercial area so that sponsors and producers can network with peace of mind.

Activities include:

  • General meeting
  • Cycle of conferences where we bring together world-class experts
  • Trade show
  • Meetings with experts in the Suspension Agreement
  • Cocktail and networking activities

The AMHPAC Annual Congress brings together national and international leaders of the fruit and vegetable industry, agricultural producers, public officials, representatives of the supply chain, researchers and consultants related to this sector. Sponsors (suppliers of supplies and services) will have the opportunity to get closer to potential customers in a relaxed environment with great opportunities to do business.

The Assembly marks the official start of the Congress. During this event, the National Board of Directors of AMHPAC will meet to report on the activities carried out throughout the 2020-2021 period in favor of members and Protected Horticulture of Mexico. In the formal act, the Surveillance and Treasury reports will also be presented.

Horacio Campaña from Campaña Agricultores.
