Ideal Tutor, the innovative tutoring system patented for greenhouse crops by SIA Sicilia Group, continues to find success on the international market.
The system is fully reliable and facilitates plant tying thus saving time also when it comes to disposing of vegetation after the production stage. The system is now appreciated and required by leading European greenhouse vegetable producers.
"Producers witnessed the technical soundness of our Ideal Tutor. The system reduces the work hours needed and guarantees correct tying, favoring plant growth. What is more, it improves the conditions of operators, who do not need to maintain strenuous postures for hours on end," explains company administrator Alessandro Avarino.

The tutoring of greenhouse plants is usually performed tying nylon threads according to plant layout. This technique, however, requires a lot of labor leading to higher production costs and, what is more, it requires further stabilization interventions and repeated operations over time.
Ideal Tutor is made up of a structure of polyethylene threads that can be used for the most common greenhouse crops such as tomatoes, eggplants, bell peppers, etc. The system is very versatile and is available with different thread sizes and distances depending on plant layout, etc.
It also comes with a wide range of hooks (simple or multiple) useful for anchoring and reels to predetermine the total height or distance between vertical threads. Only to operators are required to install it.

"Then there is also the new Ideal Tutor Dinamico. It is essentially the same as the previous one, but it is equipped with a modular system the lower the crop between 30 and 60 cm per module. The operation can be performed multiple times to help the crop grow further thus lengthening the productive life of plants, making them more productive without having to spend to replant them."
