Russian company develops MiniMax irrigation unit

"A versatile irrigation unit that works for all fruit growers"

In the past years, the vegetable growing industry in Russia has grown strongly. There is also an increase in berry production, thanks to favorable climatic and soil conditions.

According to experts, the industry can be brought to an even higher level by intensifying horticulture based on the accelerated introduction of scientific advances and automation. The use of high-tech equipment significantly increases the yield, control, and quality of the products grown.

These are the tasks and solutions that the Russian company Laboratory of Engineering Systems (L&S) deals with.

Their focus is the development and production of technological equipment for high-tech greenhouse complexes and other companies in the food industry.  However, the development of growing crops in the open field has long prompted the company to develop special equipment for berry plantations, orchards, and all kinds of agro-nurseries. They recently shifted focus to berry growers, orchards, and nurseries.

The result of this fruitful work was the new MiniMax irrigation unit, which can be supplied with different capacities in terms of capacity Q = from 5 to 100 m3 / h. It can be separately connected to an existing irrigation system, as well as supplied in a common set of equipment for irrigation of various crops: blueberries, raspberries, honeysuckle, strawberries, blackberries, apples, cherries, grapes, et cetera.

MiniMax is extremely versatile, as it is suitable both for irrigation of berry crops planted in the ground with the organization of irrigation by means of drip tapes and with a closed planting of roots as in plastic containers or bags with using of individual droppers.

A distinctive feature of the unit is that with a relatively small size, its performance can vary over a wide range while ensuring high stability of the solution preparation.

Both the machine and its software were manufactured by L&S, and come with a two-year warranty.

The unit is very easy to operate and understandable for workers, in addition, it provides a perspective of modern development for any grower, as it supports and implements all the necessary irrigation technologies.

This equipment has found its application not only on the territory of Russia, the Crime, and Ukraine, but is also successfully used in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
