VB turns off the light for Earth Hour

Saturday, March 27 was Earth hour and VB participated. Earth hour is an annual international event that calls on households and businesses around the world to turn off lights and other electrical equipment for 1 hour between 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM. Earth hour takes place every year on the weekend when the clock is changed.

VB also participated. Between 8.30 pm and 9.30 pm, VB switched off its indoor lighting for Earth Hour because VB works in an innovative way on sustainable solutions for the global food challenges. And Earth hour ties in with drawing attention to the need for this. Together we feed the world.

During Earth Hour, millions of people worldwide in more than 180 countries turn off the lights for one hour to draw attention to the fragile nature on Earth. This worldwide signal is important to put the problem and the solution to climate change on the map worldwide and to join forces for our nature on earth. Thanks to Earth Hour, more and more consumers, companies, governments and countries are making sustainable choices.
