The Dutch company, Poorthuis, has expanded its paper container range considerably. It's added items like snack tomato and blueberry cups. These are in 175 and 200g shaker format. Both can be automatically processed on existing filling machines. There are also 200, 300, 400, and 500g variants available. Each container in the (beaker) series also uses the same size R-PET lid. All these shakers come in white or kraft paper. They can have holes or not and can be printed according to client wishes. If required, the company can supply printed cups within two weeks.
Poorthuis designed this new RPET cup series with sustainability and interchangeability in mind. The new beaker weighs only 18,5 g and has been specially developed. It and PP containers with colored handles can be processed on the same filling machine. You don't even have to readjust the machine. The cups are made from 100% recycled PET.
That means both the container and lid are made from mono-materials. So, they're easier to recycle. The beaker can also be top sealed in addition to its RPET lid. The RPET cup range consists of 250, 300, and 500g versions. Poorthuis has an in-house printing facility. They can therefore print and deliver these containers in as little as two weeks.
