Future food institute organizes digital boot camp special session

Once a week the food & climate shaper digital boot camp opens the door of the virtual classroom to the public and live broadcasts selected conversations with experts.

The 3rd open class of the 3rd edition is co-hosted with The FarmTech Society introducing their members, Rijk Zwaan – the no. 4 vegetable breeding company in the world. Around 3,500 highly motivated employees in 30 different countries work on creating value-added products and services for their partners every day. Three families own approximately 90% of Rijk Zwaan. The remaining 10% of the company is owned by a large group of employees through the employee share scheme. Rijk Zwaan was, is, and always will be an independent enterprise.

Their speakers – Vincent van Wolferen, Jörg Werner, Jan Doldersum – will dial in from Berlin and Amsterdam and talk about the challenges of vegetable breeding and the value chain, and the trends disrupting the retail sector. The public audience will have the chance to participate in the conversation through the chat of their preferred platform.
