Tozer Ibérica has started 2021 with the launch of its new seed catalog, which in addition to including its latest products, is allowing the company to present its new image.
“Our main objective is to show professionals all our new products, which are the result of the great effort invested in innovation over the years. At the same time, we want to improve by making the information on our main varieties more accessible,” said José Carlos Grajeda, commercial technician for the Fuente Álamo company.
In the new catalog, already available on the company's website, the products that bring improvements within their segment and whose characteristics determine their differentiation in the current market have been highlighted. This includes the new varieties of celery for fresh cut and the new varieties of parsnip, leek, arugula, kale, pointed cabbage or pak choi.
Tozer also exclusively markets Pop Vriend Seeds branded spinach and chard varieties in Spain and Portugal, although these are included in a separate document. “Pop Vriend's spinach varieties resist the new kinds of mildew and have already become one of the most widely used. For their part, Pop Vriend's chard varieties are tolerant to mildew and have a high yield,” says Grajeda.
In 2020, Tozer Ibérica increased its total sales by 15% compared to the previous year. It is achieving success in the Spanish market with products like its celery and leek, for which they report rising sales and excellent prospects again for this year. This is expected to be an important year for the Spanish subsidiary of Tozer Seeds, since Tozer Ibérica's recently expanded warehouse will turn it into the seed company logistics center for all of Europe, as reported by company sources.
