Bonnysa's fresh grated tomato received the Flavor of the Year award for the second consecutive year

Consumers awarded Bonnysa's fresh grated tomato with the 2021 Flavor of the Year award; an award it also achieved last year. Bonnysa's fresh grated tomato was selected as the best flavor at a blind tasting with 80 consumers that highlighted the product's fresh and natural flavor. This award is very well known in the country and important for Spanish consumers.

Bonnysa was the first company to develop such a product and launch it in the Spanish market in 2006, in response to consumer demand for a fresh and natural flavor in the form of a convenience product. Bonnysa grows and processes its own tomatoes, which allows it to achieve a unique and distinctive product. That's why many Spanish households prefer this versatile product, which can be used in breakfast and in many recipes.

"This award is a recognition to the entire team's work," stated Teresa Brotons, commercial director of Bonnysa. “We take care of the entire process, from the seed to the packaging, so that our product has the best quality, flavor, and freshness. Consumers choose us over other references because of the freshness of our product. Our tomato conserves its natural flavor and it doesn't taste like it's canned or cooked because we don't use aggressive thermal processes.”

The grated tomato is part of a range of tomato-based products and of a complete catalog of convenience products. Bonnysa's many years of experience in the fresh produce sector allow it to constantly innovate with fresh and tasty products that always exceed consumer expectations.
