The Caparrós Group has signed Vicente del Bosque as an ambassador for its Lobello cherry pear tomato. Vicente del Bosque, the former coach of the Spanish soccer team that won the World Cup, will be the image of Caparrós Group's premium tomato, which was distinguished on June as the Flavor of the Year 2019-2020 after achieving the highest three gold star score awarded by the International Taste Institute before a jury made up of 200 world-renowned chefs and sommeliers.
According to Caparrós Group, Vicente del Bosque transmits values that the company fully identifies with, such as his commitment, closeness, competitiveness, teamwork, dedication, and spirit of improvement, among many other qualities. These are the values that helped the Spanish soccer team reach the highest level in the world and, according to the group, they're also the values on which Caparrós bases its identity.
Pedro Caparros, CEO of Caparrós Group, expressed his enormous satisfaction that someone like Vicente del Bosque committed himself to the company. "Vicente del Bosque's flawless sports career is very important, but we feel enormously proud and grateful to be able to count on him because of his human and professional values. His humility, generosity, solidarity, good sense, and common sense that he has always shared with his players and the whole of society in general."
Another reason to be satisfied with this collaboration between Caparrós and Del Bosque is their involvement in well-known charitable causes, as Caparrós Group is well known for its corporate social responsibility projects.
