Hort Science Online (UK): new ICL digital showcase coming this autumn

Showcasing the latest technical innovations and horticultural practices, Hort Science Online is being launched this autumn - replacing ICL’s popular Hort Science Live event.

“Set up three years ago, Hort Science Live has quickly become a popular annual event giving UK professional growers, advisors and horticultural students the opportunity to hear from industry influencers re new high-tech product innovations and practices,” explains Adam Ferjani, ICL’s Marketing Communications Manager.

“Moving to an online format gives us the opportunity to expand Hort Science Online; instead of a single event, there will be three scheduled over the autumn/winter period. Participants have the flexibility to access each event over a three-week period and, as before, will qualify for CPD points.

“Covering a wide range of topical subjects for UK ornamental growers - from nutrition in peat-free growing media to the latest guidance on plant passporting - the core aim is to help them prepare for the coming season – in whatever form it takes.”

Each Hort Science Online event will feature up to six interactive workstations focused on the latest product breakthroughs and horticultural practices, delivered by commercial industry experts and government agencies.

The first Hort Science Online event will be available to access online from 9am on 21 September 2020 – full details of topics will be released shortly.  Meanwhile growers can register at www.hort-science.com and receive regular updates.
