Russian grower ships first thousand cucumbers

It has been three months since the agricultural complex Martynovsky was launched in the Safakulevsky region in Russia. Within this period the enterprise has dispatched the first thousand tons of cucumbers of the Valigora variety. The launch was originally planned for 2018, however it has been twice postponed.

Currently the agricultural complex Martynovsky employs over 300 associates who have picked 1,127 tons of crops. The complex uses contemporary technologies, including eco-friendly substrates and drip irrigation.

The agricultural complex constantly teaches new associates to prepare the substrate and plant vegetables, as well as take care of them in the process of growth. The management pays special attention to the traineeship and skill development of the associates.

The head of the information and internal policies department, Ms. Veronica Volkova, specified that the agricultural complex Martynosky plans to grow up to 15 thousand tons of vegetables. Now the agricultural enterprise delivers cucumbers only but in the nearest future they will also start growing tomatoes.
