Greenhouse demolition contractors are economical with their building materials. Everything must be stacked neatly and able to be loaded into the truck. That is important for the reselling of the materials. Preferably, the materials of the disassembled greenhouses are loaded into the truck directly. This way it stays clean.
For that reason, Nick Weterings of Weterings Machinery notices an increasing demand at his company for telescopic loaders. And to be precise: loaders where the driver sits low. Often it concerns older and lower greenhouses that have to be disassembled.
And that is why that low driver's position is important. "Previously, demolition contractors used articulated loaders with a normal loading arm. Thanks to the telescopic arm, the wheel loader has a considerably higher lifting height and reach. The telescope allows the materials to be loaded deep into the truck. The telescopic loader is actually a wheel loader and telehandler in one."
One was recently delivered to HT Greenhouses. That was the new Weideman model: 4080LP T. Taco de Hoog from HT Greenhouses was handed the keys by Nick Weterings. Taco: "We can work neatly and efficiently with this purchase."
