"Awaken the chef within during grilling season"

In the last three months, consumers everywhere have been forced to rethink their lives. Since they’re cooking at home more, people are looking for greater menu and recipe choices. “This is forcing people to get more creative in the kitchen. Consumers also want fresh fruit and vegetables to be included in their daily diets,” says Chris Veillon, Pure Flavor®’s Chief Marketing Officer. "In response to this increased demand for more fresh vegetables, we have the Pure Flavor® Craft House Collection of products that are supported with chef inspired recipes that can be made at home.”

The Craft House Collection of gourmet greenhouse vegetables boasts a unique blend of versatile products. These are Mini San Marzano Tomatoes, Aurora Long Sweet Peppers, Shishito peppers, and Baby Eggplants (Aubergines). 

More than just the packaging
It contains not only the brand and product descriptions and videos but also chef-approved support. Then, since it’s summer, they have custom content to support grilling season, by product. And there’s a wide range of recipes. “From my perspective, we are creating an Inform-Connect-Educate (ICE) based approach to consumer engagement.”

“Going beyond the package not only enables us to engage the consumer with thought provoking content but also ensures that we are closing the loop on their journey with the product. It’s about talking to the right people at the right time about the right product on the right channel. Our digital strategies create engagement on a variety of social platforms to create enthusiasm for products that fit a specific need,” said Chris.

“Consumers are spending more time on their devices, so we need to be able to serve up content to them on the channels that they are active on. A new Craft House Collection landing was launched just prior to the United Fresh LIVE! tradeshow.

Designed to meet needs
“The Craft House Collection packaging was specifically designed to meet the recipe requirements needed to make a tasty meal. The program was initially launched in early 2019 with Craft House Mini San Marzano Tomatoes and Aurora Long Sweet Peppers. Later in that year, it grew to include Baby Eggplants followed by Shishito Peppers in early 2020.”

In the spirit of the summer season, Pure Flavor® created a Shishito BBQ & Oven Grill Pack that has the product packed in a reusable aluminum tray. The packs are available in 8oz (227g) & 14oz (397g).

This is the perfect item for grilling season; packed in a convenient tray that you can put directly on the grill or for the rainy days, pop it in the oven. Sprinkle a little Olive Oil & Sea Salt and you have an appetizer (or meal) ready to go!
