Russian grower replaces old lights with LED

Agricultural complex Churilovo have renovated the lighting format: regular lamps were replaced with contemporary LED ones, which are more economical, long-lasting and durable.

Currently, LED lighting is applied in Churilovo to cucumber growing on an acreage of 4 ha.

According to the grower, the importance of blue and red light for plants has long been proven. The light of certain wave length and taken in a certain proportion influences the growth of plants, density of leaves, quality and quantity of pigments and, consequently, the terms of vegetation and plant productivity, they explain on their website.
