On the 29th of April, De Ruiter organized the Completo Online Webinar together with its partners Helle Oy & Delphy, for tomato growers in Scandinavia. In total 28 attendees joined this new interactive setup for knowledge exchange.
Jack Endhoven, representing De Ruiter, kicked off the Completo Webinar with an introduction about the Completo variety “the 90GR medium loose tomato for Scandinavia, which is popular for its high amount of fruits/m2 and suitable for artificial light, due to its strong plant vigor”.
Later on Arjan Vijverberg, representing Delphy crop consulting, joined to summarize his three dedicated visits to Finland and provide the growers with the exact insight to grow Completo from start till end, including all Growing Tips. His main focus points were based on a vigorous crop, long trusses with high amount of uniform fruits, perfect for artificial light, strong against leaf burn and a high yield potential.
Eugenio Roelofs, representing De Ruiter, ended the webinar with an interview was Completo grower Martin Sigg, who was very satisfied with the strong plant characteristics, yield potential and Completo was well perceived by his sales association and retail partners.
