On April 1st, Tebarex celebrated its fifth anniversary. Tebarex started five years ago, with five former employees of Arend-Sosef and Tebarint.
Tebarex focuses on international high-tech horticulture. The international focus is a conscious choice. The Dutch market requires a different business model in which service and maintenance play an important role. At Tebarex the emphasis is on engineering and project management whereby service and maintenance are taken care of by local service partners.
Lean and mean
The Tebarex team currently consists of thirteen permanent employees. This is a mix of experienced engineers, with extensive experience in the industry, and a group of young, highly trained engineers. The Tebarex engineers use design tools to engage the customer in the design process and to realize the projects in a good and efficient manner.
The organization has a ‘lean and mean’ set-up. Tebarex designs the complete installation. The production of pump units and switch panels is done in collaboration with strategic partners. For the installation Tebarex has its own supervisors available and Tebarex uses a layer of flexible workers.
Operational area
In terms of work area, Tebarex focuses on England, Canada, USA, Mexico, South Korea and China. The delivery package consists of irrigation, electrical, grow light and automation systems.
Because of the team composition, Tebarex says that it has 'the fundamental knowledge required for custom design of systems that are reliable and save on energy, water and maintenance costs'. "Our sophisticated project management ensures an optimal construction process with a timely delivery (JIT) and all this in collaboration with the customer", as they conclude from Poeldijk.
