Grower sets up 20 hectare greenhouse in Aydin, Turkey for banana production

An investor from the city of Aydin is working through different obstacles to build his 20-hectare greenhouse for banana production.
The greenhouse construction cost is around 500.000 USD and the grower will first complete half of the greenhouse and start production there. The first phase will cost 300.000 USD.

The grower also had to take on some additional costs due to infrastructure problems and had to cover the costs to bring electricity. The government does not cover any of these costs. The investor already has a lot of costs and doesn't want to pay even more. "And I wanted to install a drill for irrigation of the products, but they do not grant drilling permits in confined spaces, while this is entirely legal. The bananas need water."

The grower will start planting seeds in early April and is planning to receive 6 to 7 tons of products per 1,000 square meters in a year.
