On March 15th, in response to the spread of COVID-19, the Dutch authorities took additional severe measures with major impact. It is very likely that these measures will be even further strengthened in the coming time. Wageningen University & Research is following these measures strictly in order to contribute to the containment of the virus. The safety of students, employees, suppliers and customers has the highest priority.
These measures also have an effect on research performed by Wageningen University & Research. Wageningen University & Research is doing everything within its power under the current circumstances, in order to meet its contractual obligations and to meet the planning agreed to perform its obligations, also in view of the social importance of the research.
Wageningen University & Research shall increasingly not be able to perform certain activities in accordance with the agreed planning. This can be a result of reduced availability of employees, research facilities or resources from third parties which are necessary for the performance of project activities. In cases where delays are anticipated, Wageningen University & Research shall contact customers and project partners to discuss how these delays can be overcome. They kindly ask for your understanding in this special situation and are happy to look for a suitable solution together with you.
