When YesHealth opened their first commercial vertical farm back in 2012, it had a daily production capacity of 200 kg, which was considerable at the time.
More recently in 2017, they opened a vertical farm with daily production of 1500 kg, which was the largest vertical farm in Taiwan.
Fast forward to today, they will shortly announce plans to open a vertical farm that is significantly larger.
How large will these farms become in the future? At YesHealth, they believe that vertical farming has almost unlimited potential to supplement traditional farming with more sustainable practices and lower carbon footprint.
