Checking the water level in your tank at a glance

How full is the water tank? It's a question growers often find themselves asking whether the rain is pouring down, or it’s (too) dry outside. A new water level meter now makes it possible to directly see how full the water tanks are.

The level meter by Buwatec allows the grower to directly see how full the water tank is. “The level meter works by using a float ball which floats on the water in the tank. The float ball is attached to a chord that is connected to the counterweight via a pulley system.

"The counterweight makes sure the external level indicator remains on the same level as the float ball in the water tank. Because of this, the external level indicator remains equal to the liquid level in the water tank, and it becomes possible to see how much liquid is stored in the water tank”, the developers of Buwatec explain.

The Buwatec level meter can be equipped to both new and existing water tanks via a thin bracket that can be placed over the bolt sets. Installation happens on the outside of the water tank, allowing the tank to remain operational during installation.
