US (NY): Fresh veggies in Aquebogue thanks to greenhouse cultivation

An Aquebogue farm is able to grow vegetables despite the chilly weather using a greenhouse.

In this week's the East End segment, News 12's Doug Geed visited Gabrielsen Farms to see how the owner, Carl Gabrielsen, uses hydroponics that keep roots wet by circulating water underneath the plant. About 75% of the food he grows during the winter is donated to Island Harvest. Watch the video here.
