Atlas Pacific Engineering's new destemming machine safely removes the chalice and pedicles of strawberries. The machine, which has twelve conveyor belts, processes five berries per second per belt and produces 2,722 kg of strawberries per hour.
The fruits are introduced into the machine by a soft automatic filling system. They are transported on reels on wheels. To ensure optimal performance, each berry is scanned and then cut and destemmed individually. The machine is made of stainless steel and plastic suitable for food.
