What's the status on the strawberry picking robot? How to protect raspberry and blackberry cultivation from thrips, powdery mildew and whitefly? What's the status on the winter production of blackberries in the Netherlands? All these and many more questions will be answered during the tenth International Soft Fruit Conference.
On Thursday 9th January 2020 the event will be organised in ‘s-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. As said the ISFC 2020 will include a wide range of presentations that cover many different aspects of the soft fruit industry. Simultaneously to the presentations there will be an exhibition where soft fruit related companies and organizations present their newest developments and services.
"In 2019 we had 750 attendees, originating from over 40 different countries, what makes the ISFC ‘the place to be’ for everyone who is involved in the soft fruit industry", the organisers explain. On Wednesday 8th January 2020, prior to the ISFC, they will also organize the Dutch Strawberry Day, focused on the Dutch market.
Following the conference, an international Conference Dinner will be organised on Thursday evening and a Field Trip on Friday. The field trip, organised for ISFC visitors only, includes visits to Berryplaza, Delphy and a facility showing winter production of blackberries.
