Sluxx HP from Progema is the only slug pellet that is approved in Germany for all crops, vegetables and fruit crops as well as for ornamental plants. This applies to both outdoor and underglass cultivation. There is no need to wait after application, so Sluxx HP can be used immediately before harvest. The particular effectiveness, even at high infestation pressure, results from the very high pellet density of about 60 pellets per m². Another advantage: The slug pellets can be safely used against all types of slugs, even at low temperatures.
Sluxx HP contains an active substance that also occurs in nature: Iron IIIPhosphat. The pellets are very attractive to all types of snails. After admission, cell changes in the goiter and in the hepatopancreas lead to a fast feeding stop. The snails retreat to their hiding places in the ground and die there. Since the effect is not based on dehydration of the slugs, Sluxx HP also works in damp weather. Unlike with baits containing metaldehyde, the snails do not slime.
The pellets swell in the rain and are then even more attractive to the snails, as snails prefer soft food. When dry, the pellets shrink back to their original shape. This process is repeatable several times. The pellets are very color and mildew resistant. As a result, a visual inspection on the field is easily possible.
Sluxx HP is for organic farming according to EC Organic Regulation
approved, registered at the FiBL (Research Institute of Organic Farming) and tested by ECOCERT INPUTS.
