Within the framework of the so-called Bora White operation, the Spanish Civil Guard has located various marijuana plantations in homes, farmhouses and warehouses in the province of Malaga. One of them, with 860 plants, was in a hidden room under the drain of a greenhouse devoted to tropical fruit cultivation, which could be accessed through a sophisticated concealment system under a drain.
The abundant electricity necessary to grow this illicit crop was produced by an electric diesel generator, which was hidden inside a metal transport container located outside the farm. This way, they were able to avoid an investigation from the energy companies.
The operation has resulted in 23 arrests and the dismantling of several criminal groups that operated in the provinces of Malaga, Cordoba and Seville. A total of 2,800 plants and 10 kilos of marijuana buds have been seized.
