CA (BC): Did the aliens arrive? No, but LED lights did

Here we go again. By investing in modern lights, lowering the energy needs of the horticultural industry, growers every now and then do not get applauded, but are being compared to E.T., Yoda, Groot, Avatar & Spock. Indeed: the aliens might have arrived again.

Last night, the lights came from local cannabis growers whose LED lighting systems brightened up the sky. Both BC Tweed and Pure Sunfarms grow in the South Delta area, and it seems their LED lighting systems are capable of more than just sustaining their crop - apparently they can also confuse and amaze unaware locals.

The South Delta sky was lit up last night with a vibrant purple/pink hue. Local Facebook groups Ladner’s Landing and the Tsawwassen Loop had members posting photos of the striking sky with users commenting on the possible source of the lights on Reddit.

Zuul the gatekeeper was mentioned as well as other alien referrals. However responses were positive as well. "Gorgeous", was written down by the Delta Optimist.
