10 tons of vegetables to be grown yearly in the greenhouse in Chukotka

In the end of June a new member has joined the industrial park Anadyr. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the individual entrepreneur, Ms. Antonina Kadoshnikova will be engaged in greenhouse development in the capital of Chukotka.

For that a farming complex will be built in the industrial park in 2020, comprised of two polycarbonate greenhouses in the first phase of development. The overall amount of investments will reach 27.9 thousand Euro.

The crops will be grown all year round. The overall capacity of the greenhouses should reach 10 tons of produce per year. The main consumer will be the dwellers of Anadyr and neighboring villages.

The vegetables will be produced with the use of new technologies therefore they should be of the same quality as the ones, brought from other regions of the country.

It is very important for the region that the project is fulfilled. At the moment only a few framers grow their produce in Anadyr, mostly in summer time. Therefore, the consumers only have access to vegetables brought from other regions of the country most of the time.

The amount of investments in the projects carried out in the industrial park Anadyr as of today has reached 4 million Euro. 110 working places will be created once the greenhouse project is completed.
