Record number of attendees

Hort Connections 2019 gets under way

Monday evening saw the opening of the 2019 Hort Connections conference and trade show. AUSVEG and PMA Australia-New Zealand Limited (PMA A-NZ) have united to deliver the event which will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre 24–26 June 2019.

The topic of this year's event is Growing our food future.

Jaclyn Symmes Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Resources welcomes the delegates.

The event was opened by Michael Franks Chairman of PMA A-NZ and Bill Bulmer Chairman of AUSVEG. The trade fair will have over 195 companies exhibiting and 3200 delegates currently registered to attend but it is anticipated that that number will increase to around 3,300 by the conclusion of the event making it a record number of attendees this year.

Tomorrow will start with a breakfast session and continue with the trade show and sessions throughout Tuesday and Wednesday, finishing off with a gala dinner on Wednesday evening.
