2020 edition coming up

Dozens of LED suppliers turn off their lights: GreenTech 2019 comes to an end

When the clock struck 5 PM yesterday, the RAI in Amsterdam quickly changed into a construction side, signaling the end of this year's GreenTech Amsterdam. We're currently processing almost 500 photos and putting all names in the right places, and will provide you with a full photo report on Monday - but here's a short pre-weekend preview.

If you would have randomly picked a booth, chances would be high that you ran into an light supplier. With dozens of them available, they were the biggest product group at the show in terms of numbers of stands.

If you would randomly fall into a conversation, there was a big chance that cannabis growing was the topic being discussed. Even though the exhibition kept its focus on high-tech growing and many vegetable growers were present at the show, exhibitors noticed many questions coming from this industry, and many people with interest in this topic came by.

If you would really want to make money in the industry, solutions for labor are needed badly, since this concerns growers all over the world and currently makes a big part of their products cost price.

If you would have asked a random exhibitor about his feelings on the show, chances are high they were more than happy. Thanks to all international growers and suppliers visiting Amsterdam this week, the 2019 edition of the GreenTech was received with great enthusiasm and the combination of a good period for horticulture all over the globe, a well visited fair and high quality visitors could please most exhibitors.
