"Workers returning year after year: more than a partnership"

"When you have workers returning year after year, the partnerships reach beyond just the day to day operations of the farm. It should come as no surprise that friendships form and farmers and workers alike see the relationship as an investment in one another, their stories, and their lives."

This is said by the Canadian Horticultural Council, who just published their video "More than a Partnership" as part of their awareness campaign in celebration of international farm workers.

The Canadian Horticultural Council publishes more videos about the importance of labour. "It is no doubt that food production is hard work, and the international farm workers program makes it possible for many of our growers to meet the demands of consumers. While costs in agriculture are increasing, returns are not trending upwards. Due to the labour gap across the country, especially in horticulture, this program makes it so that the horticulture industry in Canada can survive and thrive", they say.
