Increase of 22 percent recorded

Swiss greenhouse area is growing

Over the last 10 years the greenhouse area in Switzerland has increased by 22.34%, from 385 to 471 hectares. Only the area of the greenhouses with solid foundations grew, while the others stagnated.

This is evident from the annual statistical report of the Swiss Central Office for Horticulture and Special Crops.
