Until this elastic tag was made available, celery was taped before being supplied to retailers. ElastiTag® made it unnecessary to glue the traditional tape.

Lamberto Giovanardi, sales manager of "Fellini Patrizio", the company that has started using this solution on celery, reports that ElastiTags® are very easy to use also directly in fields. The company is also looking to test the tag on other products such as oblong radicchio, asparagus and artichokes.
