Production begun in Ukraine

Agaris Myco expands production of phase 3 mushroom substrate

Agaris's Myco division has successfully begun with the production of phase 3 mushroom substrate. This is being done on this Belgian company's production site in Uman, Ukraine. Building new tunnels is an important next step in Agaris's development strategy. Mushroom cultivation is growing rapidly in Ukraine. This quick expansion is why, according to Agaris, it is crucial that phase 3 substrate is available.

By the end of 2019, phase 3 production capacity in Uman will be up to 5,400 tons of substrate per month. Thanks to this investment, Agaris Myco is the first company to produce phase 3 mushroom substrate on this scale in Ukraine. This makes it possible for Agaris to respond better and faster to its client's needs.

Growers from Ukraine and surrounding countries have already worked with Agaris phase 3 mushroom substrate. And, according to the company, the reactions were positive across the board. "This substrate distinguishes itself by its stable, good quality," says an Agaris representative.
