Riococo holds memorial service to commemorate bombing victims

Easter Sunday was a horrible day for Sri Lankan people. "We lost hundreds of innocent Sri Lankans, foreign visitors, relatives and friends of the staff of Riococo due to the bombing in churches and hotels in Sri Lanka", Shan Halamba, CEO of Riococo, says.

"We can not forget them. We at Riococo value their lives and we are sorry for what happened to our country. 7 Buddhist monks visited Riococo's Head Office premises in Sri Lanka and conducted the ceremony. So we held a memorial service with 'Mathaka Wasthra Pooja' and a ceremony of pouring of water into a bowl from a jug until it overflows known as 'Pen Weddema', remembering everyone who left this earth so soon. May their souls Rest In Peace!"
