Coöperatie DOOR to get new offices, packing centre, and one-stop shop for clients

On Friday, 29 March, Coöperatie DOOR signed a deal for the transfer of a building site. This 3.6 ha plot of land is located at the Honderdland Business park in the Netherlands. Over the next 18 months, new business premises will be constructed there.

Chairperson, Jack Groenewegen, and treasurer, Pleun van Duijn, signed the transfer deal on behalf of Coöperatie DOOR. Arie Kruithof and Hans Vis signed for the Honderdland Development Combination (HOC).

Office and one-stop-shop under one roof
Coöperatie DOOR will build a new combined office and packing center. This will be done along with their brands, Green Diamonds, Paprico, Prominent, Purple Pride, and SweetPoint. Here tomatoes, aubergines, sweet pointed peppers, and cucumbers will soon be packaged under one roof, according to clients' specifications.

The new building's design is entirely focused on the fast, efficient processing of the cooperative's fresh products. Logistics will be optimized. DOOR will also construct a one-stop shop for their clients. The new site must be ready for use by the end of 2020.

DOOR is a major player on the market. It has 53 members, 570 hectares of greenhouses, and five fruit-vegetable brands. The construction of their new building can be followed, step by step on the building site: www.door-bouwt.nl.
