Canadian greenhouse grower expands organics acreage & launches Craft House collection

On the heels of the launch of their new Georgia greenhouse project, Pure Flavor is expanding their family of Canadian organic greenhouse growers to meet the increasing demand for a greater selection of Foodland Ontario vegetables. With the 94th Annual Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) Convention & Trade Show to take place in Montreal, April 3-4, Pure Flavor will showcase not only their new organic products but will also be launching a new culinary line of products under its Craft House Collection.

“We are extending our reach every season by adding to our family of growers in strategic regions throughout North America. Increased demand for our organics program has prompted us to expand our Canadian organic product offering”, said Jamie Moracci, President. Headquartered in Leamington, ON, Pure Flavor has been steadily adding grower partners across all commodities to support the company’s growth. The company has been shipping organic items for years and now has 8 items in its USDA Certified Organic program that ships year-round.

“For those who really like to cook and get creative in the kitchen, the Craft House Collection is exactly what you are looking for”, commented Matt Mastronardi, Executive Vice-President. Pure Flavor partnered with 6 different restaurants to develop the Craft House Collection product line.

“The first two items to be featured in the collection are our Mini San Marzano Tomatoes & Aurora Long Sweet Peppers; both items are not only great for snacking but are cooking items with unique flavors and textures that you rarely discover. They really are the best of the grill, bake, stuff, and sauté worlds”, said Mastronardi. Pure Flavor’s Executive Chefs will be sampling a wide variety of fresh recipes at Booth 2219 at the CPMA Trade Show & Convention in Montreal.
