The Dutch bell pepper season has started again. "The bell peppers are, once again, of excellent quality. They are also ready for the general public," says Harvest House's Marco Bergman. "We are starting mainly with large bell peppers of all colors. This is expected to continue in the coming weeks."
"At the moment, the retail programs are still running mostly in Spain. It is up to us to get things under control there again. We see that, for the most part, the large European retailers only switch to Dutch bell peppers in week 16," says Marco. "We are, of course, ready to make a good season of it again."
