The company Agrial is settling in England

Known for its Florette lettuce, Agrial has just acquired the company Angflor, an old supplier based in Colchester. “We were already buying products from Angflor for many years. Their production site progressively went from 11 to 28 hectares. This will enable us to increase our local supply capacity,” explained Doug Robertson, general director of Agrial Fresh Produce, in a press release.

With this investment, the company, leader on the fresh vegetable market strengthens its presence in the UK and secures its supplies against the many hazards that can impact the market. Because of Brexit, for example, many trucks will probably be stuck between France and the UK for some amount of time that is still difficult to assess.
