Red Sun Farms named one of Canada's Best Managed Companies

Red Sun Farms is proud to announce that it has been named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. This makes it the seventh consecutive year that Red Sun Farms has received this recognition, giving the organization the prestigious Platinum Club Status.

Recipients are evaluated by overall business performance and sustained growth with the prestigious Canada’s Best Managed Companies designation. The 2019 Best Managed program award winners are amongst the best-in-class of Canadian owned and managed companies with revenues over $15 million demonstrating strategy, capability and commitment to achieve sustainable growth.

According to Red Sun Farms CEO of USA and Canada Operations Carlos Visconti, “This recognition is a reflection of our core values as an organization; Accountability, Collaboration, Trust and Innovation. Our Red Sun family exudes these values in all aspects of our operations. This recognition reaffirms our position as a leader in the produce industry.”

Now in its 26th year, Canada’s Best Managed Companies is one of the country’s leading business awards programs recognizing Canadian-owned and managed companies for innovative, world-class business practices. Every year, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies compete for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates the calibre of their management abilities and practices.

“Best Managed Platinum winners have exceptional insights and knowledge into business management practices. They are an inspiration and really take their game to a new level,” says Peter Brown, Partner, Deloitte and Co-Leader, Canada’s Best Managed Companies program.

2019 winners of the Canada’s Best Managed Companies award will be honoured at the annual Canada’s Best Managed Companies gala in Toronto on April 17, 2019. On the same date, the Best Managed symposium will address leading-edge business issues that are key to the success of today’s business leaders.
