INRA and its partners sign agreement for two new international laboratories in China

In Beijing, in the presence of the French Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Frédérique Vidal, INRA, represented by Ségolène Halley des Fontaines, Head of International Affairs, welcomes the creation of two new French-Chinese international associated laboratories (LIA).


Signature of the agreements for two International Associated Laboratories (LIA) on the occasion of the French-Chinese Commission for Science and Technology, in Beijing on 25 February 2019, in the presence of the French Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Frédérique Vidal and INRA's Head of International Affairs, Ségolène Halley des Fontaines

The two new French-Chinese Associated International Laboratories (LIA) are the following:

  • The International Associated Laboratory Plantomix on the diversity and mixture of plants for crop protection, in partnership with Yunnan Agricultural University (YAU) in China, INRA, CIRAD and Montpellier SupAgro in France
  • The International Associated Laboratory Foodprint on food processing engineering, in partnership with the University of Soochow in China, INRA and AgroCampus Ouest in France.

The agreements were signed on the occasion of the French-Chinese Commission for Science and Technology, which was held in Beijing on 25 February 2019.
