Greensys 2019 to be held in Angers, France

The GreenSys 2019 International Symposium on Advanced Technologies and Management for Innovative Greenhouses will be held in Angers, France, from June 16th to 20th 2019.

"This event is an opportunity to bring together researchers, technicians and other professionals to present their research innovations in greenhouse horticulture and plant factory, to share ideas and knowledge and discuss state-of-the-art and future perspectives for the sheltered crop production sector.", the organisers explain.

With regard to the location, the organisers points out, "Angers is a vibrant city located in the historical region of Anjou. It has a long tradition in horticulture starting during the 15th century with the reign of king René who developed the production of ornamental plants, vegetables, fruit and grapes. Today, Anjou is the first plant production area in France with more than 4,000 firms and 30,000 jobs. Anjou is in the heart of the Loire Valley, classified by Unesco as World Heritage. It is famous for its numerous castles, splendid and very quiet landscapes, and also for its gastronomy, its wine and people who are extremely friendly and known for their hospitality."
