Positive yet unusual year for Plantis Group

Plantis Group will take part in the international fair in Berlin (6th-8th February 2019) with a stand at CITY CUBE - Hall B - Stand E-07.

The company is known for its experience in the commercialization of fruit and vegetables and especially of fennel, parsley, cauliflowers, spring onions and table grapes.

"2018 was characterized by unusual weather conditions that damaged the crops, leading to a lack of produce and therefore higher prices. Nonetheless, we focused on a few products such as fennel, parsley and seeded/seedless table grapes which have made us increase our turnover by around 20%," explains Plantis Group general manager Claudio D'Alba.

"In Berlin, we will also showcase black and white truffles, for which the work has increased over the past few months. We mainly supply Scandinavia and guarantee quick deliveries at controlled temperatures to both EU and extra-EU states."

Plantis Group holds both the GlobalGAP and organic certifications, meaning it can offer a wider range of services to both retailers and customers in general. "Thanks to our partners, we can organize orders better, especially those from the H&R segment, and supply multi-product loads on single pallets."

"Our group is constantly looking for partners with GlobalGAP and organic certifications to increase our range of products and therefore volumes sold. In addition, Plantis Group is looking for partners in Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg (as well as in other EU countries) to strengthen its position when it comes to products such as vegetables and seeded/seedless grapes. We can manage the logistics for transports all over Europe so as to make the work of buyers as easy as possible."

General manager and Scandinavia sales manager Claudio D'Alba, sales manager for the Baltic countries and eastern Europe Lenka Brostikova and sales manager for Poland, Belgium and the Netherlands Agnese Andrzejczyk will attend Fruit Logistica.

Plantis Group will welcome guests in CITY CUBE - Hall B - Stand E-07.
