Takii Europe has made changes to its organizational structure. The main changes are found at the top of Takii Europe’s organization. Ton Kuipers, Managing Director of Takii Europe, has assembled a new ‘Business Team’ that is focused on achieving sustainable business growth and value creation.
In light of the company’s strategic reorientation, Takii Europe also decided to reorganize its Sales and Marketing departments. Takii Europe has now established dedicated roles and responsibilities around Marketing and Sales. Erik Vesseur is appointed as new Head of Sales, Harm Custers is the new Head of Marketing.
Over the coming months, the structure of both departments will be further consolidated. Besides, a ‘Regional Team’ has been formed that supports all regional activities in R&D and Production. The key priorities of this team are to develop winning varieties and ensure a stable production of high-quality seeds.
Ton Kuipers, Managing Director of Takii Europe, provides further details of the new set-up: “Takii Europe has grown significantly in the past years. It was time to pause, reflect, and redefine roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines. Some parts of the organization have developed substantially and needed more room to continue their growth trajectory. The reorganization offers a way of unlocking their potential. We have to move beyond the old structure, unleash our potential, and ensure effective management. By establishing a new company structure and taking on a more top-to-bottom approach in allocating responsibilities to people within our organization, we will drive efficiency improvements thanks to faster decision-making, smoother execution, and greater focus. In doing so, we will be better able to handle the major challenges of our growth strategy.”
