Once again, Checchi & Magli, a company specializing in vegetable transplants, will attend French fair Sival in Angers (Hall C - Stand 124) from 15th to 17th January. The new Wolf Pro stands out among the innovations presented this year.
Plastic film crops have increased over the past few years and Checchi & Magli has developed a professional, precise and efficient product ideal for transplants involving mulching films.

"The main features of this transplanter are a larger distributor with 8 cups for a distance between plants of 25 to 200 cm. Side windows enable operators to change cup number swiftly - ideal for producers who plant different types of vegetables. Innovative synchronized electrical irrigation system so plants are less stressed," explained manager Claudio Zarri.
The synchronized rear electrical irrigation system is unique: it is connected to a display, so operators can adjust water quantity for each plant, bring forward or delay irrigation and activate or deactivate transplant lines.

Other innovations include the Electro Rapid Shift (ERS). This system enables the adjustment of distance between plants through the control panel. It is very precise thanks to the brushless motor, torque correction and angular alignment. Its dimensions are compact with no need for auxiliary tanks or electrovalves.
A sensors emits a sound when the speed exceeds that set by the operator. The multi-language display reports the distance between plants (adjustable between 5 and 100 cm), any anomaly and the archive. The independent power take-off means up to 50% of the petrol is saved, so the tractor does not wear as much.
Finally, all cables, connection, screen, electrical motor, control unit and monitor are airtight.

The TOP24-4 file (photo below) showcased at the fair features the Electro Rapid Shift and will be used to transplant cabbages and broccoli in Brittany.
