Turkmenistan: 8 ha organic vegetable greenhouse complex launched

A greenhouse complex for growing various sorts of vegetables was launched on January 9 in Maryisky valayat in Turkmenistan.

The complex covers an acreage of 8 ha. The enterprise is planning to achieve a capacity of 500 tons of high quality organic vegetables. Within the greenhouse complex construction, materials with high thermal-insulating proprieties and endurance have been used.

The complex boasts high-tech equipment and automated systems for control of optimum temperature and light conditions, humidity level and plant nutrition.

There is also a beehive on the territory of the complex. The bees will be used for pollination, underlining the organic character of the complex. Bee pollination should also help enhance productivity, decrease man-hours and provide high economical effect: profitability, quick return on investments and cost-effectiveness.
