Polish investments of 200 thousand euros in Kazakhstan agricultural projects

Kazakhstan and Poland are ready to enhance active cooperation. The agricultural sector is among the priorities. Polish businessmen are planning to invest about 200 thousand euros in Kazakhstan agricultural projects. With their investments, a greenhouse complex of 11 ha for organic tomato production will be built in the Turkmenistan region.

“There are a lot of tomatoes sold, that are produced in the Netherlands, now there will be a lot produced in Kazakhstan”, noted professor Arkadiusz Jacubczak, the representative of the National Investment Company in Poland and Central Europe. “The Kazakhstan government provides perfect opportunities for investments due to tax reduction. It is common knowledge that in the closest proximity to Kazakhstan's borders, there are about half a billion people. Thus, all of them are interested in producing local products in Kazakhstan and further export to Russia, Western Kazakhstan and other countries. The potential market is huge."

Apart from the agricultural field, Poland is ready to share with Kazakhstan peers their experience in tourism.
