Normally we publish extensively on royal visits to other companies, but now it is our time to shine. Yesterday two of our colleagues joined in for a short conversation with the Dutch King and Queen!
During a regional visit King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima stopped in Tholen as well, the municipality we're located in. Tholen was chosen because our municipality has the fastest growing business activity of the province.
Eight companies from Tholen were invited to present themselves to the Royal couple, and our company, Uitgeverij Boekhout, was one of them! Sander Bruins Slot and Corline Boekhout spoke briefly with the king and queen about our various international publications for the fruit and vegetable trade, horticulture, the organic sector and the new Dutch platform for design and interior.
As always the couple was very well informed and showed interest in the network built by our newsletters - reaching almost 50,000 horticultural subscribers every day. Props as well to the beautiful stand - realized by Zuidkoop - with amazing fruit and vegetable decorations and including photos of the king and queen visiting several horticultural companies.
